e-Qualitas are working in partnership with Bishopshalt School in Uxbridge, who are currently recruiting for trainee teachers to start in September 2024.
Bishopshalt are seeking trainee English, Maths, Science, PE and History teachers to begin their training, while employed at the school, from September 2024.
Bishopshalt – located in West-Drayton, Hillingdon – is a school steeped in history and tradition, having opened in 1907 and occupying the site and grounds of a former Victorian mansion.
Today the school is led by Headteacher Liam McGillicuddy, who embodies the schools values: “Love Learning”, “Show Kindness”, “Build Character”, “Chase Brilliance” and “Bright Futures”. In this short video with Liam, he provides an introduction to the school, its students and a description of what they are seeking in a trainee teacher.
With an Ofsted rating of ‘Good’ (2021), Bishopshalt offers excellent opportunities for career development for teachers completing their training while employed there.
“The students at this school are phenomenal. It’s a really exciting place to teach. The students here are really special because they want to learn – they’re sponges. They’re polite, appreciative, they take ownership of their learning and they want to engage with you (the teacher) as a human being. Bishopshalt is a rewarding place to teach, with a rewarding group of students to work with.”
